With the advance and refinement of music reproduction system, modern audiophiles have come to realize the importance of the isolation of electricity noise from their music reproduction chain. This has become a more significant issue where a digital source generating obnoxious digital noise has positioned itself as an indispensable mainstream medium for today¡¯s music enjoyment.

Under the given situation, countless companies have offered various alterative solutions to deal with the electricity noise problem, e.g. electronic noise filtering, automatic voltage regulation, an isolation transformer, a filter magnet, etc. However, we at the Antiphon Audio Labs believe that no company has presented an acceptable solution for the problem. The reason would be either the lack of technology or deficiency in commitment.

With the world best transformer technology, we could not disregard the problem of electricity noise in the chain of music reproduction. Foremost of all, we need a devise to eradicate electricity noise problem for our own music system. Therefore, we decided to design an electricity noise isolator on the basis of our transformer technology, because the transformer-based isolation can only guarantee the acceptable performance of ultimate noise suppression without the diminution of electricity current flow.

The outcome was astounding. Our products armored even with the ultimate power supply design did show the salient performance improvement. By taking a further step, we decided to produce the ultimate electricity noise isolator for our loyal customers and other discerning audiophiles worldwide.

We named our design of an electricity noise isolator as ANTIPHON MUSIC BASE , because noise-free and abundant power reservoir is the indispensable basis for the ultimate music reproduction. We wanted the Antiphon Music Base to supply noise-free electricity to the connected equipments without limitation . In this regard, we designed the Music Base for the capacity of 5,000 watts to make it inexhaustible in the home audio reproduction environment. Of course, the transformer itself is wound with the laser precision by the world best handcraftmanship.


For the output voltage adjustment without electricity flow interruption and current limiting , we developed the MOVAS (Mechanical Output Voltage Adjustment System). From incoming line to outgoing tap, the wire gauge to carry electricity flow is maintained at the same diameter. Even the transformer itself is precision wound with massive 1/11 inch-diameter OFC coil. No electronic devise or circuitry interferes with electricity flow. For the ultimate isolation of noise and excessive reservoir of electricity current, the transformer is 5,000 watts capacity and weighs 70 Kg (150 lbs). At this size and capacity, the isolation transformer functions like a battery with unlimited current supply.

The output voltage adjustment knob is industrial grade with the capacity of 50 ampere. The output sockets are highest quality hospital grade. The chassis is made of 3mm-thick steel in order to isolate magnetic field from the transformer and protect sensitive audio equipments. Most of all, despite its massive size, the transformer is extremely silent like our other transformers and does not dissipate much heat. The chassis always maintains lukewarm temperature under any condition.


The end result is the ultimate transformer-based electricity noise isolator with inexhaustible clean electricity supply. Upon designing the ultimate power isolator, we wanted that our power isolation device carries out the complete job without the assistance of other devices such as an automatic voltage regulator. The reason is that combining other device with our noise isolator would do more harm than benefits.

In this regard, we designed our power isolator Music Base to include an output voltage adjustment function because the harmful voltage drop from the power line should be properly dealt with. Regardless of voltage drop or hike, the output voltage is accurately tuned for 117 or 120 volt, depending on user¡¯s need by means of our proprietary Mechanical Output Voltage Adjustment System (MOVAS). The MOVAS is an only method to fine tune the output voltage without performance degradation.
